PENNY DRIVE UPDATE:
Cobb Faith Partnership continues its quest to collect 1 million Pennies (or the $10,000 equivalent) throughout 2008. We will not give up our quest until our goal is met.
Thanks to all of you who have helped us reach the $5,350 mark, which is over 1/2 of the way towards our $10k goal. An updated list of contributers is posted at the end of this message. Yet, there are so many of you who have yet to contribute, so we want to give you the opportunity to participate...
*** Will you help us reach our goal of $10,000 this year?? ***
If each of you reading this message can give at least $30.00, we would easily reach our $10k fundraising goals and then some! Of course, we hope you will consider giving as you are led and as your financial situation allows.
One of our immediate goals this year is to update our 500+ church database. We've had limited success in unsing volunteers to help us with this task. We've been blessed this year to have had some excellent volunteers to help us with updating some of the information. Approx. 1/5 of the list (or about 100 of the listings.) has been currently updated, with another 1/5 of the list still left to be turned in.
We've sincerely appreciated all the volunteer help with this important task. Unfortunatly, relying on volunteer has not worked as we have hoped. We are therefore looking at hiring 2-3 people to take on this task to ensure it is complete by our December 2008 Annual Meeting so we can begin contacting people about the Small Ministries 2009 event.
To help support CFP in these efforts as well as providing financial resources for other networking and information-sharing events (such as our General Meetings, Team Meetings, and our annual Small Ministries event), Local initiatives (Enhancements to New CFP Website) and to eventually hire a Paid staff person to run day-to-day CFP operations, we need to raise these funds.
Your donation is an investment in the future of CFP, enabling us to continue connecting, communicating, and promoting faith-based outreach ministries in Cobb County. Since we do not currently charge member fees, we must rely on the generosity of our members and regular attenders to help support CFP initiatives and events.
Your contribution is tax-deductible IAW current IRS guidelines.
How You Can Help:
1. Start collecting those pennies and small change NOW and bring them to any Cobb Faith Partnership-sponsored meeting or event.
Collect your pennies and small change, and get your family, friends, co-workers, Sunday School classes, Scout groups, etc. to do the same!
We will be responsible not only for taking them off your hands, but for cashing them in – thereby getting them back into circulation. PS: We will gladly accept nickels, dimes, quarters, dollar bills, or anything else that you can give to help us reach our goal.
2. NEW!... Use GoodSearch.Com and help CFP Raise $$$!
Using GoodSearch.com, powered by Yahoo! Search is a simple and pain-free way of raising $$$ for CFP! CFP receives a penny per each search, as well as a percentage (between 1 and 3%) of purchases made online through GoodShop.com, their sister site. Participating retailers include Amazon, Barns & Noble, Gap, Target, Best Buy, eBay, Staples ... and many others are added all the time.
Just go to http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=871580 and be sure to enter Cobb Faith Partnership as the charity you want to support.
3. The easiest and quickest way to contribute is through our special link with JustGive.org where you can make a secure contribution by Debit or Credit Card. For your convenience, we have included the JustGive.Org link here below:

Limit 2 (two) certificates per person. Certificates cannot be combined together or used with other discounts or offers. Visit http://www.ksatlanta.com for information on available classes.
